Ian Chalmers has been appointed Chief Executive of peak industry body the Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries.
Formerly the Chief Executive of Medicines Australia, the national industry association representing research-based Australian and International pharmaceutical companies, Mr Chalmers was also Chief Executive of the Australian Local Government Association and the Australian Private Hospitals Association.
He has served on the board of an ASX-listed bio-tech company and the ACT Asthma Foundation.
