Matthew Daly, Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services (Tasmania)

The Minister for Health, Michelle O’Byrne, and the Minister for Human Services, Cassy O’Connor, have announced the appointment of Matthew Daly as the new Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services.
Mr Daly is currently Chief Operating Officer, Clinical Support Division, Southern NSW Health Service. Prior to this, he was Chief Executive of the Northern Sydney Central health service, a position he held for more than three years.
Previously, Mr Daly held a number of senior positions in NSW Health including Executive Director of the Concord and Canterbury Hospitals, Director Clinical Operations for the South Eastern Sydney and Illawarra Area Health Services and Deputy CEO for South Western Sydney Area Health Service.
