Rob Pocknee - Partner
Rob Pockneeās early roles were in audit, and then as a Financial Controller and Company Secretary in manufacturing.
Seven years with Price Waterhouse Management Consulting gave him strategic and operational exposure throughout Australasia. At one point he was seconded as General Manager of a prominent Federal government business.
He next joined Myer Grace Bros as General Manager, Customer Service, responsible for the enhancement of service delivery of 30,000 staff across Australia.
Later he joined the AXA Group; first with a national customer service responsibility, then based in Hong Kong as General Manager with profit responsibility for retirement and business insurance products. Concurrently, the Hong Kong Government appointed him as an independent specialist adviser in their successful launch of compulsory retirement savings plans.
Prior to joining Amrop Cordiner King in 2002 , he was a Partner of PwC Consulting, advising clients in a range of industries throughout Asia Pacific, Europe and the United States, on strategy and customer relationship management.
In 2006, Rob was elected by the member firms of Amrop to the Global Board of Directors.
In 2007, he was appointed to the Amrop Global Board Executive Committee, and as Amrop’s Chairman, Asia Pacific, with responsibility for our firms in Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. In addition, he was responsible for Amrop’s global practice groups from 2007 until 2010.
